Points Criteria for Mustaches (Judges will be scoring and awarding point values between a 1 and 5)
RULES FOR PARTIAL BEARD
The partial beard competition will include, and not limited to the Fu Manchu, Imperial, Musketeer, all sideburns with a shaved chin, beard curtain, and the Amish beard. Any variations of these main styles will be seen as a partial beard competitor. Partial beards will be graded on style, sophistication, most original, and whisker quality. Points will be awarded for creative styling.

2019 Chili 'Stache & Beard Competition on February 9th
The 10th Annual Chili 'Stache and Beard Competition will be held February 9th on the Ithaca Commons during the Ithaca Chili Cook-Off. The registration will go from 12 pm to 2:30 pm on the corner of Bank Alley and the Commons. The competition itself will be held from 3 pm to 4:30 pm on the Bernie Milton Pavilion (different than last year) to accommodate our facial hair fans.
Competitions will include Crafty All Ages Chili 'Stache, Full Natural Beard, Full Groomed Beard, Partial Beard, the Chili 'Stache, and Sans Barbe. The registration fee is a suggested donation of $8 for the Chili 'Stache and Beard Competition. All proceeds will go to Loaves and Fishes and donated under IBMC.
If you would like to pay and register ahead of time, here is a link to pay and pick your category you're registering for. If you want to donate and not compete, please do!

On February 10th, 2018, in the bank alley on Ithaca Commons (3:00 pm start time), Ithaca Beard and Mustache Club will host the 9th annual Chili 'Stache and Beard Competition. There will be a suggested donation fee of $7 to compete, and all proceeds will be given to a local non-profit. Money will be collected during registration.

The Great Chili 'Stache and Beard Competition

February 6th, 2016, from 3:00 to 3:30 PM, the Ithaca Beard and Mustache Club - a local organization whose mission statement affirms that "with great facial hair comes great responsibility"-will host the 7th annual Chili Stache and Beard Competition. Chili 'Stache & Beard Competition - February 7th
The first annual Chili 'Stache & Beard Competition sponsored by Ithaca Beard and Mustache Club will be taking place on February 7th during The Great Downtown Ithaca Chili Cook-off!! We are really excited about this, people! There will be two main contests: Full Beard and Partial Beard. We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each of the winning competitors. Festivities will be underway from 3pm until 3:45pm at the main chili stage (CENTER OF THE COMMONS). Feel free to get in touch with any questions or RSVPs if you know you are coming to get judged.

The partial beard competition will include, and not limited to the Fu Manchu, Imperial, Musketeer, all sideburns with a shaved chin, beard curtain, and the Amish beard. Any variations of these main styles will be seen as a partial beard competitor. Partial beards will be graded on style and sophistication, whisker quality and general manliness. Points will be awarded for creative styling.

Full Beard:
The Full Beard competition is for facial hair that includes, but not limited to the Full Beard, Verdi, and the Garibaldi. Beards will be graded on length, fullness, style and sophistication and general manliness. Points will be awarded for creative styling. No portion of the facial beard can be shaved
